Brushed black chrome meets Prussian blue and white marble
Hotel Luc has opened its doors in the best location in Berlin, with a view of the French Cathedral on the Gendarmenmarkt. In keeping with Prussian history, not only the name was taken up, because the French philosopher Voltaire lovingly called his friend Frederick II of Prussia “Luc”. The interior design of the Boutique Hotel, by interior designer Oana Rosen, also interprets the past with a contemporary style mix: Geometric clarity in sophisticated colours, with a cosy interior and spacious marble bathrooms with KEUCO mixer taps, accessories and cosmetic mirrors in brushed black chrome. The combination of black accents on the light walls looks particularly powerful and elegant.
The total of 70 rooms and 22 suites all embrace the concept of this straightforwardness, paired with refined elements and historic charm. The Boutique Hotel Luc opens up an elegant world in deep Prussian blue and soft, nature-like colours in the sleeping and living areas. The bathrooms create a modern contrast in black and white. The surfaces of the mixer taps on the washbasin and in the shower, the illuminated cosmetic mirrors and the accessories in black chrome are brushed using a PVD coating. This guarantees an extremely resistant surface with a rich colour tone and a very high degree of hardness. This is a major advantage, especially in hotels.
EDITION 400 mixer taps make a design statement at the washbasin. The rounded shape looks great with the washbasin top. A cosmetic mirror is always an important accessory in a hotel. Thanks to illumination and five-fold magnification, small imperfections do not go unnoticed.
In the showers, guests are offered an experience with IXMO mixer taps. Thanks to innovative KEUCO technology, the mixer taps in a minimalist design can combine several functions in the smallest possible space. You can choose between a large head or round pencil hand shower using a 2-way shut-off and diverter valve. The fitting element also contains the hose connection and hand shower bracket. The single-lever mixer controls the water temperature and volume. The PLAN shower basket, which is also brushed in black chrome, offers space for care products.
IXMO mixer taps with rectangular rosettes were also used on the spacious bath tub. The black and white design also provides a stylish image.
In the toilet area, the toilet paper holder and the brush set of the EDITION 400 prove themselves as everyday heroes. Even the sanitary bag dispenser and the spare roller holder in brushed black chrome fit perfectly into the bathroom design.
