KEUCO adds the finishing touch to newly designed suites
The Radisson Blu Hotel Cologne in the district of Deutz, located directly on the Rhine, is a popular accommodation for both tourists and trade fair visitors. From the hotel, guests enjoy a view of the city’s most famous landmark: the Cologne Cathedral. The design hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from the Hohenzollern bridge, which is equipped with castles, to the city centre.
The interior designers from the JOI-Design office, Inh. Peter Joehnk and Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk, have designed exclusive suites for the hotel with the magazine Wohnidee and first-class cooperation partners. Design highlights and special materials have been combined to create a modern ambience for guests. Carefully selected products from KEUCO give the high-quality interior in the bathroom of the “Urban Retro” suite a very special touch.
The interplay of soft shapes and straight-lined contours of the EDITION 400 blends harmoniously into the surroundings of the high-quality space. A soft oval characterises the face of the washbasin mixer tap and bathroom accessories, which are effectively accentuated by their brilliant chrome surfaces. The free-standing porcelain accessories of the EDITION 11 offer the finest in decoration and function.
The light mirror from the EDITION 400 provides perfect illumination of the face. The secret: Special light-conducting material brings the light of the LED to the surface. The light can be dimmed and the light colour continuously adjusted via the sensor control. In addition, the mirror has integrated heating, so that fogged up views are a thing of the past. The illuminated cosmetics mirror is perfect for a closer look. The variable light colour and flexible height adjustment give the guest the opportunity to adapt the mirror to their needs.
In the shower, the hotel guest has the choice: Three consumers are available here. The innovative IXMO mixer tap solution from KEUCO combines several functions in the smallest possible space.
Three-way changeover valve, wall outlet for shower hose and hand shower bracket are all integrated in one module. Each guest can set the optimum temperature for the head, jet or hand shower using the thermostat. A major advantage of IXMO is the individually selectable placement options for the modules. The stop valve can thus be operated through the optimal positioning even before entering the shower.
A versatile shower system with a minimalistic appearance. Because the special thing about IXMO is: All modules are of the same size and impress with excellent design - whether round or square. With a diameter or edge length of only 90 mm and a depth of only 80 mm, they offer the guest a uniform image and maximum freedom of movement in the shower.
After an eventful day in the Rhine metropolis, the guest of the four-star hotel can relax in the bathtub. The perfect temperature is set via the meTime_spa panel and the user can choose between wall outlet and hand shower. Decoration and care products can be stored on the practical shelf.
