Architect Susanne Muhr from Iynx Architekten describes her vision of the LAGOM housing project in Herrsching am Ammersee as the ideal retreat that promises relaxation and the feeling of having arrived. The combination of warm wood, plenty of glass and light and a modern architectural language creates an impressive image from the outside. The architecture is characterised by high-quality wooden battens that run across all facades as a style-defining element.
The interior concept of the neighbourhood’s houses and apartments continues the architecture and surrounding nature in the interior in terms of materials, colours and moods. Natural, organic materials and timeless, functional shapes add a pleasant lightness to living spaces. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and large window elements capture daylight. The living rooms are equipped with real oak parquet - as are the bathrooms. Here, LAGOM relies on well-known brands such as KEUCO. The brand’s fittings and accessories in brilliantly glossy chrome finishes complement the elegant, glazed tiles and emphasise the bright bathroom atmosphere.
For showering, residents can choose between a large overhead or round pencil hand shower using a 2-way shut-off and diverter valve. The mixer tap also serves as a hand shower bracket and hose connection element. The single-lever mixer can be used to set the individual comfort temperature and water quantity. An individually height-adjustable IXMO shower with shower pole was chosen for the shower option in the bath tub. The sliding bracket for hand shower is particularly easy to operate with just one hand or wet hands.
PLAN blue single-lever mixers are inserted in the washbasin. Its sustainable design is characterised by a timeless and durable design idiom. At the same time, the PLAN blue single-lever mixers can save water, as the flow rate is only 6 l/min instead of the usual 9-12 l/min. This does not affect the water experience: Special aerators ensure a rich, sparkling and soft water jet.
