High-quality and durable KEUCO bathroom equipment at the Eisenberg forest clinics in Thuringia
A hospital with a five-star quality of stay. The Waldkliniken Eisenberg in Thuringia is changing the German hospital landscape with its new concept. And this is clearly visible: The spectacular new building was “built for the future”. The round floor plan of the new building allows every patient to view nature from their bed - a central aspect of the design. All patients from all health insurance companies are welcome. Of the 246 patient beds, only 13 are for private patients. In addition to a new care concept and an outstanding special design, patients and guests in Eisenberg also get first-class rooms: The soft, natural colours in which the interior is kept exude calm and cosiness.

Long-lasting quality was important in the bathrooms, and they opted for complete KEUCO bathroom equipment. So everything fits together perfectly. Mixer taps, accessories, light and cosmetics mirrors, washbasins and washbasin boards from KEUCO impress with their strong design and easy handling. The IXMO mixer taps in the shower and at the washbasin are made to measure: As a special highlight, they have been given the oak leaf, the Eisenberg logo.
The new building was designed by the world-renowned Milanese architect Matteo Thun. Only those who dare to do something new, who cross boundaries, can learn new knowledge. This is Matteo Thun’s driving force. Together with David-Ruben Thies, Managing Director of Waldkliniken Eisenberg, Matteo Thun developed this special architecture for his first hospital construction, which is entirely focused on the patient or guest. Matteo Thun worked closely with the HDR architectural firm to combine the form and function, design and requirements of a modern hospital.
In the new building of Waldkliniken Eisenberg, the patient or guest is offered a harmonious environment for their treatment and recovery, in the middle of the most beautiful landscape in Thuringia.
