Architecture meets functionality. PLAN INTEGRAL was developed in collaboration with the office ingenhoven associates, Düsseldorf.

Architecture and functionality merge into one unit. For its high design quality, PLAN INTEGRAL was awarded the coveted “red dot” and the “if design award 2010” by an internationally renowned expert jury in 2009.

About Christoph Ingenhoven

Together with his team, he develops and implements projects of all sizes and types in many regions of the world, always in accordance with the highest green building standards such as LEED, BREEAM, DGNB and CASBEE.

 

It first received international recognition in 1997 with the RWE Tower in Essen, one of the first ecological high-rise buildings in the world. Since 1997, the office has been planning the Stuttgart main underground station as the core of the Stuttgart 21 transport and urban development project. Europe’s largest green facade was completed in 2020 with the Kö-Bogen II in Düsseldorf. The entire ensemble marks the end of an extensive urban restructuring project in the centre of the Rhine metropolis. Several high-rise building projects were created in Osaka, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney, among others.

 

His work has won numerous awards, including several RIBA Awards, AR Awards, the Global Holcim Award Gold, the International High-rise Prize, the Gottfried Semper Prize 2019 and the 2022 European Prize for Architecture.
