Industrial mechanics are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all work machines at KEUCO. This also includes carrying out maintenance work on technical equipment. You should bring high school grade, good mathematical censorship and a technical interest. The training lasts three and a half years.
"I particularly like the fact that working as an industrial mechanic specialising in maintenance is very varied. During the first three weeks of my training, I got to know the company. After that, I spent six months in the training workshop, where I learned the basics of turning, milling and welding. There was also a course in pneumatics (the teaching of technical applications where compressed air is used to perform work). After that time, I went back to the company.
I feel very comfortable at KEUCO. I can always go to an employee if questions arise or I have difficulty solving a task. In my department there is a lot of laughter in addition to work. I really enjoy working there."
Kevin Kampmann,
ehem. Industrial mechanic trainee - maintenance specialist
In your training as an electronics engineer specialising in industrial engineering, you will learn how to maintain, modernise and repair industrial plants in the company and the electrical energy supply at KEUCO. After three and a half years, the responsible training is completed. To do this, you should have high school grades, with good grades in mathematics and physics. An interest in electronics is also a prerequisite.
"Electronics has always fascinated me, so it was obvious to choose an apprenticeship in the field. At KEUCO, I encounter many technical processes, such as automated electroplating lines, grinding cells that are controlled by robots or a fully automated goods distribution centre.
As part of my training in industrial engineering, I spent the first year in the apprenticeship workshop to learn the “basics”. In the second year of my apprenticeship, I was able to take part in many SIHK courses in order to acquire in-depth knowledge in, for example, control programming (PLC).
At KEUCO, no two days are the same. Every day, you are faced with new tasks and challenges. Fault analysis on machines and repairs are part of the day-to-day business.
However, it becomes really interesting when new machines are planned and we can plan our electrical control system and finally build the corresponding control cabinets on the basis of the documentation created. KEUCO works completely independently on many projects, which ultimately leads to a very varied training and a balance between theory and practice."

ehem. Trainee as an electronics engineer - specialist field of industrial engineering
Surface coaters use different processes and techniques to produce metallic coatings on metals or plastics. During a three-year training course, you will learn how to refine the materials that make up the mixer taps and accessories from KEUCO, such as brass and die-cast zinc. Coating is one of the most important steps in production. On the one hand, it ensures a flawless appearance of the surface and on the other hand, corrosion protection ensures the longest possible service life. If you want to work as a surface coater at KEUCO, you should have advanced technical education and a great interest in chemical processes. Then an IT specialist training course is just the thing for you! Choose to focus on application development or system integration. In three years, in addition to working independently and in a goal-oriented manner, you will learn about a wide range of technical contexts and know how to navigate the ever-growing world of information technology.
"I decided to train as an IT specialist for application development because I am very enthusiastic about technical issues. I find the development and support of software particularly interesting. I was interested in training at KEUCO because the company enjoys a good reputation both nationally and internationally. It stands for high-quality products and exceptional designs around the bathroom. I particularly like the good working atmosphere of the family-run company and the opportunity to take part in training courses during the training to gain good and fundamental knowledge of software development and software support.
The IT department is divided into two areas: System integration and application development. Cooperation takes place in the team and across groups. Trainees always have an open ear for questions of any kind, not only from their supervisors, but also from their colleagues, and they are integrated everywhere. It’s a future-proof job, but it’s also very exciting. The IT department is there to ensure all processes in the company."
Petros Rollis
Trainee in computer science with a specialisation in application development
"My interest in computer science arose during my school career in computer science classes at high school. It became clear to me that I wanted to continue my professional training in this direction after graduating from high school. The choice of training company fell quite quickly on KEUCO. After the successful application process, I was able to start my training as an IT specialist in the field of system integration with great anticipation. For me, it was above all important to choose a profession that is both future-proof and varied in its field of work. These two points are definitely fulfilled with the training to become an IT specialist.
During my training, I come into contact with all KEUCO employees and can not only get to know many different personalities, but also gain a deep insight into the company itself. As a system integrator, I take care of the installation and maintenance of important technical systems, administer and manage virtual servers and machines, and solve a wide range of technical problems that can occur in KEUCO’s daily workflow."
René Kniese
ehem. Trainee in computer science with a specialisation in system integration
"I decided to train as an IT specialist for system integration at KEUCO because I have always had an affinity for computers and my interests are in the field of hardware and software. The training is very comprehensive: Whether IT’s setting up a new computer, helping to design the new website or supporting colleagues with IT-related questions on a daily basis, I always have a lot of fun and variety as part of my training. I particularly like the working atmosphere and the flat hierarchies of the company as well as the variety of tasks.
The training is very comprehensive and if there is a task that I can't always solve directly on my own, my colleagues or the other trainees are there to help me. As an IT specialist, it is important to be able to work independently but also in a team, as this area is very responsible for the entire company."

It’s made for you if you’re an organisational talent, enjoy working on a PC and are good at using numbers and spreadsheets. You should also be interested in business contexts. The duration of the training is three years.
"The school career is coming to an end and you are confronted with the question: “What do you want to be later?”. The longer I’ve been dealing with this question, the more confident I was: I want a varied commercial training course in which I don't have to decide yet and where all doors are open to me. I saw this opportunity in my training as an industrial clerk. You go through many different departments and can thus find out which department suits you best after the training. Often, there are even opportunities that you didn't even consider at the beginning of the training. After the joy that I had received the apprenticeship at KEUCO, the excitement naturally came. After all, except for a few internships, I had only attended school at the time.
The training started with an introduction week. In addition to a workshop, we got to know the company and also visited our production sites in Gütersloh and Bünde. You felt well looked after and welcomed right from the start, which made getting started so much easierThis first impression was only confirmed during the course of the training. My strengths are recognised and promoted. My interests are addressed. I was able to take responsibility early on and implement projects independently or as part of a team. A nice feeling, because: I am treated as an integral part of the team and not as if I were just an apprentice who sits temporarily in the department.
Even when you reach your limits, you seek constructive discussions and work out solutions together. I look forward to getting to know other departments in the course of my training and to finding out which activities are particularly fun for me - and which are not. The support and support I receive in my training at KEUCO will help me to determine which area appeals to me the most over time. In my opinion, there is no better basis for getting started in professional life."
Mirjam Steinhardt,
Industrial clerk apprentice
"Since I grew up in Sauerland, KEUCO has always been a term for me. The company is not only successful nationally, but also internationally. So it was clear to me that I wanted to apply for my training at this renowned company. My application was responded to immediately and I was invited to the Assessment Centre. Here, applicants go through several tests to find out whether they are also suitable for the company. There, I was already given the feeling that I was valued as a person. Both my strengths and my weaknesses have been recognised, and during my training, I am also given care to develop myself accordingly and to further develop my strengths.
The training to become an industrial clerk also includes an insight into the production processes at the start of the training. Further areas, such as financial accounting, sales or HR, will follow. I feel like a full member of the Keuco team and can always count on the support of my colleagues. No matter which department you are currently working in.I can say to myself that my choice of training as an industrial clerk at KEUCO was the right decision."
